Jerry's was established in 1997 by Jerry Pearsall (1942-2001) a Monroe native who like most men had a dream of owning his own bar and grill. Jerry has since passed, but his tradition is carried on by his family. This location has been a neighborhood bar and grill for almost a century.
While Jerry's has had a half a dozen names in those years, the traditional, fun, and inviting atmosphere has stayed the same.
Before Jerry's the location was called "Cliff's Frenchtown Bar" ( Cliff Lozon 1982-1997) and prior to this it was know as "Frenchtown Bar"
owned and operated by the Kehres family for 36 years (1946-1982) During the early forties it was known as the "Polar Bear"(Jim Milankov 1941-1946)
We at Jerry’s look forward to continuing the tradition of being your "neighborhood favorite" whether you're local or passing thru from out of town you will always feel at home at Jerry's.
